How do I know if I am in the service area?
The service area is expanding daily. You can review our coverage map to see if you are in a Speedwave(sm) coverage zone or you can contact us for more information.

What data transfer speed will I have?
The data transfer speed depends on the category of service subscribed. Upgrades are available. You can view our wireless internet services plans for other options.

With a wireless connection, how many computers can be online simultaneously?
Many computers may be online at the same time.

Do weather conditions such as rain, sleet or snow affect wireless internet?
No. Weather does not adversely affect a wireless connection.

Is it safe to view my account online?
If is very safe to view your online account status. All account information is confidential, encrypted and password protected.

Are wireless and satellite internet the same?
No. for signal transfer, the wireless design used by Midwest Connections uses towers rather than satellites.

Can I run servers through a Midwest Connections wireless broadband connection?
Yes, as long as acceptable use policies are followed.

Is it secure to submit my credit card information through your wireless network?
Credit card safety is the responsibility of the website operator. If a website is not secure, we cannot guarantee the safety of your information. We recommend that you provide credit information only to those sites that you deem to be secure.

How do I obtain technical support if I have problems or questions?

Can I perform my own installation?
Midwest Connections must provide the installation in order to insure proper setup.
